Language and Layout
For Contributors - Publication Language and Layout of Subsections
Publication language
Contributions in English, Afrikaans or any of the official
South African languages are welcome. In the case of an article
in Afrikaans or any of the official South African languages
other than English, an English abstract of not more than 600
words must be provided. English articles should be accompanied
by an abstract of not more than 200 words.
Layout of subsections
The subsection of the text must be clear and logical. In PIE
we do not use the numbering system (i.e. 1.1, 1.1.1, etc.).
Subsections should be clearly indicated by using the following
stylistic tools to indicate the different heading levels:
Level 1: Lower case and bold
Level 2: Lower case
Level 3: Italic
Level 4: Underlined
Level 5: * Ordinary typing
Level 6: ** Ordinary typing
The review process takes between 2 to 4 months to complete.
Authors will be informed of the editor's decision on receipt
of all of the reviewers' reports.
